So I have no idea why I'm not getting confirmation text messages anymore for my moblogs, but that's why we have dupe posts.
Anyways...Rylee Elizabethann is doing well. I was a bit off on the weight: at 38 weeks, she is 9 lbs. 7 ozs. They are testing her for diabetes since she's so big. Although, I must confess, after picking her up, she seems light as a feather compared to Leeanthro's chunky little monkey....
Took the boy to go see his sister this morning. He was upset when he learned he had to go to school today. But when we explained that mommy would be sleeping and nothing exciting would be happening *and* he could be a car-rider and I would pick him up and bring him directly to the hospital after school...he seemed placated.
We were there *just* in time to hear and watch Riley drop her first deuce.

I'll be off work for a couple of days. My sister's spousal unit starts a new job---today. Bad timing, huh? So I'll be filling in as needed. I hope to back to a regular schedule on Friday. My sis should be home by then. And it looks like she just *might* make it home in time for Lost....

Diabetes? Really? I hope it comes out negative. Aren't there lots of fat babies around? That just means they're healthy! :)

Not sure why they jump to the conclusion that Rylee? or Riley?, is diabetic! My brothers weighed 9lbs 6oz and 10lbs 13oz. No one ever suggested they had diabetes. Hope the tests are negative! Have fun with the big brother and can't wait to see the new and famous little sister! Oh, and you too Gamera!

Rylee is big, but not huge. I guess better safe than sorry. And they do so many tests on babies these days. Surely she's fine.
And who doesn't love a chunky baby?
So the test was negative. She's a happy, healthy little baby girl who I just wanna BITE!!!
