Another tidbit -- totally unrelated -- that I came across talks about the "liquid bombing" of an airplane and just how unlikely it really is.
I really enjoyed the article's salty demanor too -- when suggesting more plausable ways of taking out a plane, it noted new problems like the instability of explosives that could make it past security. An suggested that it seemed more likely that they would just blow themselves up...
Or, to quote - "It's surprising that none of the attackers enjoyed an unscheduled launch into Paradise."
